Legal Obligations
Just as UK Company Law imposes certain legal requirements according to business status, anyone offering goods or services for money on the internet is legally obligated to meet certain standards as a minimum requirement. These are defined by the Disability Discrimination Act (level-1) in the UK and Section 508 in the US.
Meeting these standards also greatly helps a website’s ratings with Google and other search engines.
Coding Standards
All our own new builds meet these standards and are tested against all priorities of the WCAG as defined by the WAI. We also test against the five most commonly used browsers.
