What do I need to do first?
1. Define Purpose
What are you looking to achieve with your website? It is wise to plan exactly what you want your site to do for you; is it purely to advertise your business presence, sell your goods online, create an online community?
Will your contents remain unchanged for months or do you need the ability to frequently edit them yourselves without having to deal with complicated code structures?
Don’t worry about the technical details, that’s our job.
2. Choose Preferences
It will ease development if you have a clear idea of your tastes in web styles. Maybe browse the internet for other sites that have the same functionality you are looking for or designs that you particularly admire.
If there will be images, have them ready in high resolution files (preferably JPG or PNG format). Make sure there are no copyright issues with the images you want to use.
Note -- When you send them to us please send just the files in their original format. Embedding images in e-mail or other applications (Word, PDF, etc.) damages the quality of the pictures and in many cases makes them unusable!
3. Consider Identity
Consider what name you want for your site, then take a look at our page on Domain Names and Web Hosting.
